Valborg celebration at the office

Valborg is one of the major holidays of the year at most of Sweden's colleges and universities, where students put on their student caps on April 30. 

The after work starts at 16:30, and there will be sparkling drinks and snacks. At 18:15, the Cortege from Chalmers begins. It is a long caravan that for a couple of hours winds through Gothenburg's central streets (and past our office), mainly made up of trucks with stages built by students in cardboard and papier mache where the students act as actors.

After the cortege, those who like can head over to Slottsskogen for the annual festive evening with choir singing, spring speech and the classic Walborg bonfire.
