At the concert "Let the Music Speak," Petra Marklund, Linnea Henriksson, Peter Jöback, and Tomas Andersson Wij will pay tribute to Björn Ulvaeus and Benny Andersson. Together with a large orchestra, they will evoke both old and new emotions, based on one of the most famous song catalouge of all time.
Fifty years ago, Björn and Benny's music broke through when ABBA won the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Waterloo." Over the years, Björn and Benny have written and produced music in countless contexts, including musical classics such as "Chess" and "Kristina från Duvemåla." In "Let the Music Speak," the spotlight is directed towards the songwriting duo who, with their historic music, put Sweden on the music map.
During the concert evening, the four participating artists will give a magnificent experience with Björn and Benny's music in focus. On stage, they will be accompanied by a large orchestra where the pieces are performed in their original versions interspersed with new creative interpretations.
