We’re thrilled to invite you to our upcoming Crayfish Party at the office— a chance to experience a cherished Swedish tradition while enjoying great food, drinks and company.

Event Details:
Date: 6th of September
Time: 17.00
Location: Sebratec office
What is a Crayfish Party? For those unfamiliar, a Crayfish Party, or "kräftskiva" in Swedish, is a traditional celebration held in Sweden during August and early September. As the summer ends and the nights grow longer, Swedes gather with friends and family to feast on crayfish, sing songs, and enjoy each other's company. The crayfish are typically served cold and accompanied by an assortment of side dishes and drinks. It’s a festive, joyous occasion that brings people together to savor the last warm days of the year.
What to Expect: At the Crayfish Party, Sebratec will be providing drinks, festive decorations to set the mood and a taste of crayfish. The food is BYO (bring your own), and we encourage everyone to contribute to the feast! Have a look at the list below for suggestions of what to bring to a typical "kräftskiva". Feel free to choose something from the list or another dish of your choice. Whether it’s a swedish traditional dish, something from your home country or something new you’d like to try, your contribution will add to the fun and flavor of the event! There will also be a list of food posted in the What's app-group where you can update what you're bringing so we won't end up with 20 cheese pies (but then again- that would't be the worst thing that could happen!)
So, mark your calendars and get ready for a fun-filled evening! We can’t wait to see what delicious dishes you’ll bring and to share in this Crayfish Party (or as Felix likes to say- Crazyfish Party 😆)
Let’s make this one to remember! As ususal, partners and/or families are more than welcome to come along.
See you on the 6th! 🎊

Hello Everyone,
First and foremost, I want to apologize for the silence from our leadership team recently, but I assure you that going forward, there will be more communication from us.
As we enter the second half of 2024, I'd like to reflect on the first part of the year. The consulting industry in Sweden is currently facing a tough period with decreased demand for consultants, pricing pressures, and the introduction of a new law coming into effect in September. This has posed challenges for many consulting firms, including Sebratec.
During this time, as CEO, I've had to make many important and difficult decisions to ensure our long-term sustainability and success. One of the outcomes of these decisions was reducing our Management Team earlier this spring to align with our costs. After extensive analysis, we decided to temporarily pause certain initiatives in 2024, which we plan to resume in 2025 or as soon as the market conditions allow. The areas we scaled back on were within marketing and recruitment. Unfortunately, this meant that our colleagues Troy Johansson, Linus Jonsheden, and Oscar Johansson had to leave Sebratec to pursue new opportunities. They are talented individuals whom we wish all the best and hope to work with again in the future.
Spring wasn't without its positives. One of our challenges was to onboard new Business Managers, and after a lengthy process, everything fell into place just before summer. We now have three Business Managers in place, establishing our sales organization and leadership, which will have significant impacts in the coming months and years.
You're probably wondering about the outlook for autumn. With autumn approaching, we have started to see positive changes and experienced small yet meaningful progress. There's increased optimism among our clients, with a noticeable shift in how our services are being sought after, and our dialogues are now more positive than they were just a few weeks ago. In many cases, we're receiving feedback that our consultants deliver high-quality work with excellent results. Thank you all for your dedication and hard work; it motivates us and gives us the confidence to continue meeting our clients and making more deals.
As CEO, I am optimistic about the latter half of 2024 and believe the market will gradually improve, setting the stage for a strong 2025.
Once again, a big thank you for the work you do with our clients. Lastly, please keep an eye on our intranet because by the end of next week, we will release all the activities planned for this autumn at Sebratec. As a big hockey fan, I'm eagerly looking forward to Frölunda's season opener on September 21st. The first four people to sign up for this event will receive a personalized team jersey.
Until we speak again, I wish everyone a great start to autumn!
Best regards,
/Tony

As Sebratec continues to grow, we want to build a team that works cohesively towards making Sebratec an ever-evolving organization. By helping us tap into our expansive network and referring candidates who share our values and aspirations, Ruy has been awarded a 10,000 sek bonus for the successful referral and hiring of Roberto.
How did you go about referring Roberto to Sebratec?
- Actually, he was already in talks with Sebratec, and it was just a matter of having an assignment to continue with his process. During the Easter holiday, I visited a close friend who has been living here for two years working at Volvo Cars. During our conversation, he mentioned he needed someone with good experience to help his team. Since I was already talking to Roberto, who was asking for tips on how to prepare for interviews and the Sebratec process, I told my friend, "I know the guy – can I put my manager in touch with your manager?" The rest is history.
What qualities or skills did you notice in Roberto that made you think he would be a good fit for Sebratec?
- First of all, I wanted to ensure that Sebratec would be a good fit for Roberto, to be very honest. Fortunately, I got this answer in my first month here in Sweden. The excellent support I’ve received from everyone on the team, especially Maja and Felix, was awesome. I feel the company is moving in the right direction regarding its vision and values, and I made it clear to Roberto that it is probably the best place for him, especially in terms of trusting the transition from Brazil to Sweden.
Now, talking about how Roberto would be a good fit for Sebratec, I had no doubts at all. Roberto is a team player, a really enthusiastic and optimistic person, and has amazing hard and soft skills. I’ve seen how he has developed over the years. The only thing I mentioned to him several times was to reflect on the transition to Sweden and if he was ready for it, because it would change his life direction and take him out of his comfort zone.
Did you provide any specific recommendations during the process?
- I only mentioned to my friend how good Roberto's profile and CV were and that I had worked with him for five years, noting that he was a good team player. To be honest, I only accelerated the process for Roberto to get an interview, but in the end, it was Roberto's soft and hard skills that got him the job. I just helped find a good opportunity.
How has the referral process and the hiring of Roberto affected your view of internal referrals?
- I think we should have this internal referral process to help not only the company to grow and hire good people but also to help each other. We, as consultants, are the first to foresee any open positions in our teams or teams we interact with daily, and we also have a very large network.
Would you consider referring more candidates in the future?
- Definitely. I think referring people is like a shortcut to help our business managers put the right candidates in close contact with the managers who are seeking new people for open or future positions. If we have worked with someone in the past, our opinion is very valuable to the managers in general. Refer people you trust and know will do good work, integrate well with the team, and are open-minded about moving to Sweden and embracing a new culture and way of life.

As of 17th of june 2024, we have made changes to the previous referral bonus and revised the qualifications. Read more by following the link below.
